Pitching Woo Productions present "Blackest Noir" - a comic strip thriller, where the sex appeal of the 1940s meets decidedly modern humour. Insurance fraud investigator Jack Mack and his trusty secretary Miss Trinity Tack are on the trail of a kidnapped heiress and her missing jewels. Who knows where those priceless pearls will finally show up... The show is full of smoking hot burlesque, jaw-dropping variety, hilarious audience participation and vintage prize giveaways. Created by comedian Abigail Collins ("Cabaret's triple threat" This Is Cabaret, "Terrific skills-based character comedian" Time Out) and burlesque artist Sophia St. Villier ("...a consummate femme fatale, of the kind noir film went to great lengths to warn you about...” This is Cabaret, "...the mystique and captivation of a timeless diva; a humanised Jessica Rabbit" - Outline Online) this is 90 minutes of original material with something to please and tease everybody. All thriller, no filler, the guest acts are seamlessly worked into the story line, with performers such as juggler Mat Ricardo ("Incredible" The Scotsman), burlesque sensations Gwendoline Lamour ("The Gypsy Rose-Lee of our times" The Independent On Sunday), Miss Malone ("Queen of Scottish Burlesque" - Herald and Post) and world-class hand-balancer Jonathan Finch. The show will fit into most venues and requires minimum set up and bump out time. Venues also have the option to insert one or two intervals into the show for punters to recharge their glasses (although we recommend one interval, which takes the total run time of the show to 2 hours).
